The Mission

One of the earliest lessons I ever learned about God was that He was willing to go where we are in order to save us from sin. Christ has meals with the sinners, walked to gentile towns, and told the parable of going after the 1 and leaving the 99.

God has a mission of reaching out to every nation so that all may know the truth and be free from the consequences of sin. One of the modern missions fields is online. Millions of people are turning their eyes away from the harsh realities of the modern world and are seeking peace in the social environments of the internet. It is to these children of God we are reaching out to.

We are Presenting a non-filtered version of scripture, and having conversations that wrestle with the ideas found within it. Our goal is to introduce people to the word, and help them see how it isn't irrelevant but life giving. That Christ doesn't just want to save you and move on, but to have a relationship with each of us, a unique relationship with purpose and depth. God's love is special for each wonderfully made child.

Forest and Fields Daily Reading

Monday - Friday morning reading of scripture followed by conversation directly related to the reading. This is not a bible study but a conversation that points to the relevance of scripture and the heart of God

Monday - Friday 7 am est.

Long Road Readings

Monday - Friday evening bible reading. This series is walking down the long road of scripture, starting in Genesis 1 and continuing as we read one chapter every evening until we reach Revelation 22.

This is scripture reading only and no commentary is added.
Monday - Friday 5 pm est.

F & F Connections: Thoughts from the Office

This is a show dedicated to discussing topics and themes that are on the heart and mind of one of the Forest and Fields cast members. It does not have a set schedule yet as it only runs when a cast member has a topic they wish to discuss with the community

F & F Connections: Under the Big Sky

This is the F & F late show. It does not have a set schedule. This is a space for the crew to talk to the community in a less formal environment. The topics discussed are often not preplanned and there will often be music. As described by the team "think of a midsummer's night when you just grab some friends to hang out. You toss ideas around and discuss what is on each other's hearts and minds"

It is our passion to offer alongside our programming, visual pleasing videos and graphics for the community. Our goal is that the images, timers, and backgrounds that we use are of a quality that do not cause distraction. That they help our viewers connect with the show's host and hear the scripture that is being shared.

The first rendition of our site and broadcast leaned heavily on the use of AI to cover the expense created quality backgrounds. However, it is our hope to utilize the talents of our community, and in our expanding ministry be able to pay for talented artists and musicians and not rely on AI.

The first step we would ask anyone that feels led to help us in this endeavor is to pray. As scripture says, the prayer of the righteous is powerful ( James 5:16 ) and we at F & F fully believe that God will provide the provision necessary to improve our online space. Please pray for this ministry, that God leads us in wisdom and provides the resources we need to reach His children online.
